Montgomery hosts Hot Air Balloon Festival
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – A hot air balloon festival has come to Blount Cultural Park in Montgomery.
The festival was postponed from earlier this year due to weather. It is being held Friday and Saturday, July 17-18, featuring tethered rides, food and a lot of other activities.
Last night, wind and nearby storms prevented the balloons from launching, but organizers hope for better conditions tonight.
Gates open at 5PM, with a balloon glow and laser show scheduled for 9PM.
