ACTION 8 UPDATE: Man killed in Montgomery shooting identified

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – Montgomery police are investigating a shooting that left a man dead.

Montgomery police Lt. J. Scott Dunn told Action 8 news that the shooting happened just before 2:30 Sunday in the 3600 block of Debby Drive, which is just off of McGehee Road not far from Eastern Boulevard.

Dunn said officers were called to a fight. When they arrived, they found the man, identified as 25-year-old Malcolm Davis, with life-threatening injuries from a gunshot wound. Malcolm was pronounced dead on the scene.
