U.S. Rep. Terri Sewell announces job fair in Selma

SELMA, Ala. (WAKA) – U.S. Rep. Terri Sewell (D-Alabama) has announced that her 15th Annual Job Fair will be held in Selma next month.

The job fair will be held from 10AM-2PM on Thursday, August 6 at Wallace Community College Selma, offering networking and job opportunities.

The job fair will feature these industries:

Automotive
Restaurant and food management
Transportation and construction
Hospitality and retail
Health services
Utilities and telecommunications
Manufacturing and production
Staffing agencies
Government agencies
Law enforcement

The job fair is free. While walk-ins are welcome, organizers would prefer pre-registration.
