Signs The Heat Is About To Crank Up Again
We expect the heat and humidity to be the main player in our weather through the rest of this week.  Temps will manage the lower to mid 90s for highs but when you factor in the humidity it will feel more like 100 to 105. It’s dangerous heat and caution is advised during the peak heating hours. Scattered showers or t-storms may provide a little relief from the heat at times.
A frontal boundary will enter the northern part of the state late week. The frontal boundary will stall and be the focal point for rain activity. We expect rain chances around here to increase Thursday through Saturday. Scattered showers and t-storms will be possible each day. Temps will continue hot with highs in the lower to mid 90s. The ole dreaded heat index will range between 100 to 105 degrees.
Early next week will be trending drier and even hotter! High pressure will dig in and we’re expecting mid to possibly upper 90 degree heat.
