Still hot, isolated storms through Friday; Weekend rain chances rise
Thursday morning’s weather was very similar to Tuesday and Wednesday. The sky was partly to mostly sunny for most, resulting in temperatures on either side of 90° by midday. Meanwhile, a few showers and storms formed around noon. More rain develops Thursday afternoon, but coverage remains isolated. Otherwise, expect typical summer heat with high temperatures in the low to mid 90s and peak heat indices closer to 100°.
