What’s Happening: August 7-9
WHAT’S HAPPENING (WAKA) – It’s the final weekend before school starts for many students, who can celebrate with back-to-school events and even with lots of Legos!
The Lego Brick Convention is happening Saturday and Sunday at the Montgomery Convention Center, with large Lego displays, expert builders and a chance to build a creation of your own.
A teen pool party is happening in Montgomery as a way to say so long to summer vacation.
There are back to school events happening in Montgomery, Prattville, Millbrook and Wetumpka, with activities, school supply giveaways and even free haircuts.
Food Truck Friday is back in Opelika, which includes a movie showing.
And the Montgomery Film Festival is being held at the Capri Theatre.
