Typical August Weather Conditions

We’re in the midst of a stagnant weather pattern and there’s signs it may be sticking around for a while.  Rain chances will be low but those isolated showers and t-storms will be possible just about every afternoon.  Temps will hover in the lower to mid 90 throughout the weekend.

We don’t see much change in our weather next week.   Most of our area will experience typical summertime conditions.  That means hot and humid with a slight chance for an afternoon shower or t-storm.  Temps will continue to manage lower to mid 90s for highs.  You factor in the humidity and it will feel more like 100 to 105 (heat index).

The tropics have been rather quiet lately and there’s little indication things pick up anytime soon.  The National Hurricane Center is showing no tropical develop expected during the next seven days.
