Two arrested in months-long drug investigation in Evergreen

EVERGREEN, Ala. (WAKA) – Evergreen police say they have arrested two people in a months-long narcotics investigation called “Operation Cold Summer.”

Police say early yesterday morning, the Evergreen Police Department Narcotics Division, with the help of the Investigations & Patrol Division, executed a narcotics search warrant at a home in the 900 block of Jerusalem Church Road.

That led to the arrests of two Evergreen residents who face the following charges:

39-year-old Theo Cobb:

Trafficking fentanyl
Trafficking synthetic cannabinoids
Trafficking methamphetamine
Unlawful possession of marijuana 1st
Unlawful possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine
Unlawful possession of MDMA
Unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia
Certain person forbidden to have a firearm
Chemical endangerment of a child

32-year-old Adrianna Stewart:

Chemical endangerment of a child
Unlawful possession of marijuana 2nd

Narcotics, Paraphernalia, & Firearms Seized:

Synthetic cannabinoids
Methamphetamine/fentanyl mixture
Marijuana
Crack cocaine
MDMA ecstasy
300 blackout
AR pistol
$3,833.00 in cash

Police say Cobb is being held on a $1,668,000 bond, while Stewart is being held on an $18,000 bond.

Police say Operation Cold Summer has now resulted in 14 arrests related to drug trafficking, drug distribution and several related charges.
