Demopolis police arrest Choctaw Co. duo on drug charges

Demopolis police arrest a Choctaw County duo on multiple drug charges.

Fifty-two year old James Calvin Manley — and 46 year old Crystal Griffith — both of Pennington — are charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Chief Rex Flowers says officers found what is believed to be Crystal Meth — a glass pipe — and a handgun — during a search of the vehicle they were traveling in.

Flowers says both suspects also have warrants out of Clarke County.

He says they’re being held in the Marengo County Jail.
