Montgomery organization to hold fundraiser benefitting people with disabilities
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – A Montgomery organization that helps empower people with disabilities is holding a fundraiser while remembering the life and legacy of its former executive director.
Independent Rights & Resources is holding the Jazz Brunch and Silent Auction on Saturday, August 15 at 10:00 a.m. at Montgomery Catholic Preparatory School.
For more than 15 years, Kent Crenshaw lead the organization helping build a legacy of advocacy, empowerment and opportunity for individuals with disabilities. Crenshaw passed away on June 2, 2026.
The fundraiser will feature brunch, live jazz music, a silent auction and much more.
