More Scorching Summer Heat Ahead
The dangerous heat continues and all indications are it’s going to stick around for a while.  Temps will reach the mid to upper 90s highs. The dreaded heat index values will hover between 103 to 110 and that’s in the danger level. We suggest you slow down and try to take it east during this brutal heat wave.
Our weekend will look and feel very similar to the last several days. There will be lots of sunshine and temps will respond. Highs will reach the mid to upper 90s but the humidity will make it feel worse. Heat indices will range between 103 to 110. This type heat can be dangerous, so we suggest you stay hydrated and limit time exposed to direct sunshine. Some relief from the heat may come in the form of showers or t-storms.
There won’t be much change in our weather next week either. It’s definitely going to be hot as temps head toward the triple digit mark at times. Rain chances will remain about the same and give a little relief from the heat for the lucky ones.
