Two of Alabama’s powerhouse flag football programs slated to go head to head in the AHSAA Kickoff Classic
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA)- The Catholic Knights will open up the season going head to head with the nationally ranked Central Phenix City Red Devils in the AHSAA Kickoff Classic.
The Red Devils come into the season ranked as the number one flag football team in the nation according to USA Today. However, the Knights are also no stranger to success, the past three seasons Catholic has made the state championship game and brought home the blue map trophy back in 2024.
The game will be played at Central Phenix City on Thursday, August 20th at 3:00.
