Two-A-Days High School Football Previews: Colts are “excuse-less” in 2026
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA)- Now in the second year of the Dusty Baker era at Hooper Academy, the Colts are looking to make a big stride from 2025 to 2026.
In 2025, Hooper Academy recorded a 2-8 overall record. Baker says his main objective for the team last year was to just be competitive in each game; this year, he says they’re looking for more. The Colts bring back several starters from a year ago, and they’re looking to lean on that veteran leadership.
Hooper Academy gets the 2026 season underway on Friday, August 21st on the road at Jackson Academy.
