Action 8 Preseason Blitz: John Longshore analyzes Auburn schedule

ACTION 8 PRESEASON BLITZ (WAKA) – Action 8 Sports Analyst John Longshore is analyzing the Auburn Tigers’ 2026 schedule.

He expects Auburn to open the season with a win against Baylor in Atlanta on Saturday. After that comes a big test in week three when the Tigers host Florida, when first-year Gators coach Jon Sumrall faces fellow first-year Auburn coach Alex Golesh.

The Tigers will face a tough stretch playing at Tennessee and at Georgia in back-to-back games, with a week off in between. That’s followed by a home game with LSU and then it’s back on the road at Ole Miss.

After that, Longshore expects Auburn to win three in a row against Arkansas, Mississippi State and Samford before the Iron Bowl against Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
