Police investigating human remains found in Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – Montgomery police have launched an investigation following the discovery of human remains.

Montgomery police Lt. Tina McGriff told Action 8 News that officers were called at about 10:10PM last night to an area of Velma Circle and Hayneville Road in reference to a deceased person.

Upon arrival, officers located human remains.

She said there is no further information available in reference to this ongoing investigation.
