Former East Family YMCA to soon reopen with a new look, new name
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – The former East Family YMCA will soon reopen with a new look and a new name.
The YMCA of Greater Montgomery says a ribbon cutting ceremony will take place on September 11 at 9:00 a.m. at the newly renovated Dalraida Family YMCA.
The ceremony follows a $2.5 million investment to help better serve individuals and family in the River Region.
The YMCA says the new name reflects their commitment to honoring the Dalraida community while creating a welcoming destination where people of every age can connect, grow and thrive.
