Selma man accused of stabbing his mother

A Selma man is behind bars tonight — accused of stabbing his own mother.
Police arrested 30 year old Austin Rashad Hunter on Domestic Violence Assault and Domestic Violence Strangulation charges.
Officers responded to the 1900 block of Bell Rive Drive at around 5:30 Friday evening — and found 56 year old Lisa Hunter outside of her home.
She told police that her son had stabbed her several times — causing her to flee from the house.
Officers secured the scene and were able to apprehend the suspect without further incident.
