More Scorching Summer Heat Ahead
We’re moving through the last few days of summer but there’s no sign the summer heat is letting up anytime soon. Temps will continue to manage the lower to mid 90s for highs. An east to northeasterly wind flow remains in place and that will continue funneling in mainly dry air to the area. Rain chances will be slim to none through Friday but that will change over the upcoming weekend.
In the meantime, we expect a clear sky with temps dropping into the mid to upper 60s overnight. Abundant sunshine will be overhead for our Friday.  An isolated shower or two will be possible but most miss out on them. Temps will are likely to be in the mid to upper 90s for highs.
Our weekend is going to look a little different. Moisture will begin streaming back into the area and that will provide fuel for those afternoon showers or t-storms. Temps will continue to reach the lower to mid 90s for highs.
