ONLY ON 8: Day 3 of Great Alabama 650 river race
(WAKA) – It’s day three of the Great Alabama 650, also known as the largest river race in the world.
Today, racers toward the end of the pack paddled their way through Lake Mitchell while the front-runners have already made their way through the Alabama River.
Tomorrow, racers can be spotted coming through downtown Montgomery and downtown Selma as they make their way to Camden.
The race concludes Tuesday, October 13, at Fort Morgan on the Alabama coast.
