More Summer-Like Heat This Week
We’re right back into a summer-like weather pattern this week. High pressure will be the main weather feature and its going to keep us mainly clear. Temps will respond and we’re easily reaching the lower 90s for highs.
Tonight is looking clear with the winds going calm. Temps will drop into the upper 50s for overnight lows. Tuesday is setting up to be sunny and summer-like with temps climbing into the lower 90s for highs.
Wednesday through Friday will be more of the same. We’re expecting abundant sunshine along with temps reaching the lower 90s for highs and overnight lows in the lower 60s. A frontal boundary will pass through the state Friday. All indications are the boundary moves through as a dry front. The air behind the frontal system will be cooler and that sets the stage for a really nice weekend.
Saturday and Sunday will have the look and feel of fall. We’re likely to see a blue sky and feel a cool northerly wind flow across the area. Daytime temps will reach the mid to upper 70s while overnight temps drop into the lower to mid 50s.
