90 Degree Heat Possible Through Late Week
There’s more summer-like warmth ahead this week. High pressure will be the main weather feature and its going to keep us mainly clear. Temps will respond and we’re easily reaching the upper 80s to lower 90s for highs.
Tonight is looking clear with the winds going calm. Temps will drop into the upper 50s to lower 60s for overnight lows. Wednesday is setting up to be sunny and summer-like with temps climbing around 90 degrees for the high.
Thursday and Friday will be more of the same. We’re expecting lots of sunshine along with temps reaching the upper 80s to lower 90s for highs and overnight lows in the lower 60s. A frontal boundary will pass through the state later Friday. All indications are the boundary moves through as a dry front. The air behind the frontal system will be cooler and that sets the stage for a really nice weekend.
Saturday and Sunday will have the look and feel of fall. We’re likely to see a blue sky and feel a cool northerly wind flow across the area. Daytime temps will reach the mid 70s while overnight temps drop into the lower to mid 50s.
