2026 Holiday Market kicks off the holiday season in Montgomery
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – The 38th annual Holiday Market kicked off this evening with a preview night of all the holiday fun to come.
People all over the River Region came out tonight to shop local vendors and get their Christmas shopping underway early. There was food, adult beverages, clothes for all ages, decorations, jewelry, candles, and much more.
As people shopped around they listened to live music. The event is hosted by the Junior League of Montgomery, and the chairwoman of the holiday market, Yolanda Poole, told Action 8 about some special deals they’re having over the next couple of days.
“Our president and her husband are sponsoring the first 100 people for free tomorrow. We open tomorrow at 11 a.m., so if they want to come in tomorrow, they can get in free. Friday, we’re also letting the first 100 people in free sponsored by Cheesecake Empori-Yum, and Saturday, we’ll have breakfast with Santa that we start at 9 a.m. until 3 p.m,” said Chairwoman of the Holiday Market, Yolanda Poole.
“We have unique vendors from across the country as well as some local, so you can get your holiday shopping kicked off and out of the way in one stop, and you’re supporting a good mission. It’s something fun for everyone to do, from the non-profit and education appreciation to ladies night on Friday and our family fun day on Saturday, it’s something for everyone to be a part of,” Amerika Blair, President of the Junior League of Montgomery, told Action 8.
The Holiday Market runs Thursday, Oct. 15, through Saturday, Oct. 17 at the Multiplex at Cramton Bowl, 220 Hall St. in Montgomery.
General admission is $5.
