Man injured in Montgomery shooting

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – A man has been injured after being shot in Montgomery.

Montgomery police Cpl. James Dozier told Action 8 News that the shooting happened at about 1:45 this morning in the 1800 block of Coral Lane. That location is in a neighborhood off Norman Bridge Road, just outside of the bypass.

Dozier said the man suffered what is believed to be a non-life threatening gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
