Thank you for making Action 8’s Tickled Pink another big success
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WAKA) – All of us at Action 8 want to thank all of you who made our Tickled Pink event such a success. For a dozen years, we’ve been raising awareness and money for the fight against breast cancer.
Once again, Tickled Pink was held at DABOS Park. Saturday was windy and cool, but that didn’t stop the crowds from coming out.
There were dozens of vendors, entertainment, prizes and a mobile health clinic. We also took time to honor breast cancer survivors with a special parade, led by this year’s Survivor Makeover winner Lucille Cole.
Proceeds go to the Cancer Wellness Foundation, which serves people in 52 counties across the state in all kinds of ways.
