Troy Man Arrested for Attempted Rape, Burglary, Drug Possession

A Troy man is arrested after police say he tried to rape a woman early Friday morning.
Dexter Jackson, 33 years old of Troy, is facing attempted rape, burglary and possession of a controlled substance-cocaine charges.
Police say he allegedly tried to rape someone he knew in an apartment on Gibbs Street in Troy.
A witness helped police locate Jackson in a nearby apartment. He’s being held in jail on more than $100,000 bond.
