Alabama Education Association Takes Steps to Fire Henry Mabry

This morning, the Alabama Education Association has announced they are working to fire executive secretary Henry Mabry. The AEA raised concerns about Mabry’s financial management of the organization. Anita Gibson, the president of the AEA, said the decision was difficult but necessary to put the organization back on solid ground. Warnings over the groups finances was first raised last year by long-time AEA leader Paul Hubbert. 

 

Hubbert passed away last year.
