Local Ad Agency Holds “Createathon” for Local Non-Profits

A local advertising group has been working around the clock to help create ad campaigns for local non-profit agencies.

Ideas are flowing at Stamp Idea Group in Montgomery.
These designers have 24 hrs to get together ad campaigns for 9 clients.

“Createathon is a little wild and crazy but we love it. It’s ramped up services from diving in on a campagin to creating a logo or strategic marketing plan for clients,” said project manager Laura Hicks.

Stamp has 30 employees. Some work on designing websites. Others work on logos and slogans.
One group is working on a campaign for the Jubilee Run for Cancer.
And it’s Victoria Belton’s first Createathon.

“One of my other projects is the Sickle Cell Foundation, working on a website for them and working closely with the web developers to see exactly what they do…It’s been a really, really fun thing to learn,” said Belton.

This year Stamp also held a canned food drive for one of their clients, the Montgomery Area Food Bank.

It’s all to help those who help the community every day… and it’s all free of charge.

“It feels good to give back to them,” said Belton.
