Blackfinn Ameripub Hosts Pre-Opening Event For Charity
A new bar and grill is opening up next week in Montgomery, and local foodies had the chance for a sneak peek of the menu all for a good cause. Even though Blackfinn Ameripub won’t officially open it’s doors until March 5th, they held a pre-opening event to benefit the Joy to Life Foundation.
For a $25 donation, patrons could get drinks and a four course meal.Â
Â
The Joy To Life Foundation works to provide free mammograms and breast cancer screenings to under-served women across Alabama. They also work to promote general health and wellness across the state.
Â
The event held at Blackfinn Ameripub had a huge turnout, with all the proceeds going to the foundation.
Â
“This is so exciting!” says Joy Blondheim, the Co-Founder of Joy To Life. “They’ve put on a first class, beautiful event, and we’re gonna get every penny that’s raised tonight. That’s gonna be a lot of money that’s gonna help a lot of women in this state and we are thrilled about that.”
Â
In addition to tonight’s fundraiser, Joy to Life will be hosting the Walk of Life 20-15 event in April. For more information on the foundation, visit www.joytolifefoundation.org.
