Patti LaBelle and Luke Wade in Concert for 50th Anniversary Events

World renowned singer Patti LaBelle took the stage Saturday night at ASU’s acadome along with the Voice’s Luke Wade.
Before the event started there was a special tribute to Alabama native and Georgia Congressman John Lewis, who played a major part of the civil rights movement. He was honored with a plague by ASU president Gwendolyn Boyd. However, Lewis was unable to attend the event due to other 50th anniversary events happening in the city.
The concert was put on by the City of Montgomery.
