Montgomery Police Officer Killed In Saturday Morning Wreck
One Montgomery Police Officer is dead after a crash with an 18 wheeler.Â
Police responded to an accident between Officer David Colley in his marked patrol car and the 18 wheeler around 6 a.m. Saturday morning.Â
Officer Colley had life threatening injuries and was taken to Baptist South where he was later pronounced dead.Â
Officer David Colley was from Eclectic and had served in MPD for two years. He was married with one child.Â
The investigation has now been turned over to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agecny.Â
