Alabama News Network was in Tuscaloosa to talk to new Univ. of Alabama men’s basketball coach Avery Johnson about his plans for the Crimson Tide.
Johnson, the man who has the nickname of “The Little General” showed a lot of excitement in becoming the coach when he was officially introduced at a news conference with university leaders.
The former SWAC Player of the Year, NBA champion and NBA Coach of the Year has set a goal of leading Alabama to the Final Four for the first time in school history. He has chosen Duke as his model team.
