Two People Shot in Selma

Selma police are investigating the shootings of two people.

Police say around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, they were called to the 1800 block of L.L. Anderson Avenue.  That’s where they say they found a 17-year-old male and a 19-year-old male with gunshot wounds.

Police say the two victims said they were walking when a man with a black hoodie and white shorts opened fire at them. Police do not have a motive.

Officers say the 17-year-old was flown to Birmingham for treatment, while the 19-year-old is recovering in Selma.
