Alabama State Students Rally for Presidential Search

A small group of Alabama State University faculty and students are rallying in support of the search for their next president.
Â
The school has been embroiled in controversy after a forensic audit ordered by the governor raised concerns of possible misspending at Alabama State. The school has sued the audit firm and disputes the firm’s preliminary findings.
Â
Gov. Robert Bentley had recommended the university’s board of trustees halt its search, but the board has decided to move forward and this week named four finalists.
