Alabama House Approves Abortion Bill

Lawmakers tackled the tough topic of abortion on the house floor earlier Tuesday.
The house passed a bill that would ban abortions within 2000 feet of a public school.
The bill’s sponsor says it’s to protect children from the graphic images often used in protests.
Other lawmakers think the purpose is to close down another clinic in Alabama.
One in Huntsville would have to shut it’s doors to comply.
That bill now heads to the senate.
