New Tallassee School Superintendent Named
The Tallassee school system has named a new leader.
Wade Shipman was chosen for the job at a school board meeting last night. Â Shipman was previously a superintendent in Fayette.
Shipman replaces Kenneth Varner, who will be taking a job with Brewton City Schools.

Finalists for the job in Tallassee included Bullock County Superintendent Keith Stewart.
