The Health Benefits of Exercising Over 50
A new study at the University of Texas found that regular exercise not only helps people over 50 stay physically fit, it also improves their memory, and brain health.
Researchers tested a group of non-active people in their 60s and 70s.
They found that when they started exercising on a bike or treadmill, they had better blood flow to their brains, especially the part of the brain affected by Alzheimer’s disease.
