Senate Pro Tem Del Marsh to Take Over Historic Victoria Inn

Alabama Senate Pro Tem Del Marsh is taking over one history Alabama hotel, and is making promises to renovate it. The Anniston City Council voted to transfer The Victoria Inn to Marsh Properties, which Del Marsh owns. 

 

Under the agreement, Marsh’s company will spend $1.5 million to renovate the building and maintain the hotel for at least 15 years. Marsh says he plans to keep the exterior of the Victoria Inn as it is, but plans to renovate the interior to give it a more contemporary look and feel.
