One local group is giving women and children a helping hand to get back on track, by providing them a place to live The building houses up to 33 single women, and up to five families. Not only does Friendship serve as a home for women and children, it also helps them with practical skills to get back on their feet.
Friendship mission is centered around faith. Its community and church involvement is a vital component of its mission. Those who use the services says it also creates an everlasting bond.
