Hundreds Gather for Fourth of July Picnic at Riverfront

The City of Montgomery celebrated the fourth down at Riverfront Park on Saturday, despite the rain.
Hundreds came out to enjoy music by the Sweet Young’uns, and food. the picnic wrapped up a little earlier than normal, because of the wet weather.
That didn’t dampen the fun for the hundreds that came out for the events, which included a rib eating contest, complete with a cash prize.
