Fire Destroys Business in North Montgomery

Montgomery Fire Officials are trying to determine what caused a fire Tuesday afternoon at Harrell Appliances. The business, located at 2912B Lower Wetumpka Rd, was full of appliances at the time of the fire. The owner says the building that burned is where they store and repair appliances. Thick black smoke filled the air as fire crews battled the blaze for about two hours. Fire officials say no one was injured, but the building is a total loss.
