Man Flown to Montgomery Hospital after Being Shot in Tallassee
Tallassee police say a man has been airlifted to a Montgomery hospital after being shot this afternoon.
Police Chief Jimmy Rodgers tells Alabama News Network that Tony Aldridge was shot around 3:30 p.m. Rodgers says Aldridge was shot in the abdomen and in the leg in an apparent domestic dispute.
Aldridge was flown to Baptist Medical Center South in Montgomery.
Rodgers says Tara Phillips has been charged with attempted murder and is in custody.
