Maxwell Air Force Base Hosts the 2013 Energy Expo
Maxwell Air Force Base hosted the 2013 Energy Expo. 18 vendors from Alabama Power to Alagasco were there to talk about energy conservation and energy efficiency.
They also had special learning sessions and were giving energy-savings ideas.
Event organizers say they hope to teach people about how they can save energy at their own homes and workplaces.

And, for you car buffs, there was a treat to see. A Tesla Model S electric car on a full battery was at the event. The car can get up to 300 miles and costs about $100,000.Â
