Juvenile Arrested on Charge of Firing Shots During Fireworks, Suspect Arrested for Facebook Threats

A juvenile is arrested after police say he fired shots during the fireworks show in Downtown Montgomery Saturday. 

According to Montgomery police, a 14-year-old male juvenile was seen firing a gun into the air around 10:10 p.m. in the 300 block of Coosa Street. That was during the Montgomery Biscuits’ fireworks show. 

Police say the suspect was immediately taken into custody and was taken to the Montgomery County Youth Facility. The suspect was charged with discharging a firearm within the city limits, reckless endangerment, and carrying a concealed pistol without a permit. There were no injuries.

Montgomery police also arrested 20-year-old Marcus Judkins after allegedly making threats on Facebook regarding shots being fired at Riverfront Park.  He’s being held in Montgomery County jail on $15,000 bond. 

A Facebook posting under the account “Rkg Mango Rip Kris” stated- “we goin shoot the riverfront up.” And another post said “whoever goin to the river front better stay yo a** at home cause sh** finna get real.”
