Changes Coming to AL Driver’s License Services
Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Secretary Spencer Collier  announced today changes to the state’s driver’s license services.
You will now be able to schedule an appointment time online, eliminating the need to wait in line for service.
You’ll also be able to renew your driver’s license online, or order a duplicate if needed.Â

If you do decide to go to the office to renew your license, there will be new self-serve kiosks.

Also new – digital licensing for smart phones, where you can download a digital license to show as a secure form of identification.Â
