Selma Stores Gear Up for 2015 Back to School Tax Free Holiday
From the West Alabama Newsroom–Â The 2015 Back to School Tax Free Holiday is underway this weekend — and people in Selma plan to take full advantage of it.
Stores around town are gearing up for a busy weekend.
Clothes, computers, shoes and some school supplies can be bought tax-free until midnight Sunday.
A lot of people are using the weekend to get more bang for their buck.
“I don’t like to waste money so I kind of waited to this particular time to come get it,” said Brian Allen.
Back to school shoppers in Selma save 10 cents on the dollar — during the tax-free holiday.
