Montgomery’s city election is less than a week away.
We are taking a look at the District 2 city council race.
Six candidates are vying for the position.
We want to know what residents there want the most in a representative.
Some say they want someone who will curb the crime in the area.
Others are concerned with traffic and development.
Judy Pickett tells us, “the things I’d like to see addressed are public schools, specifically Goodwyn and Lee. Concerned about the project they’re going to to start on Federal Drive and Ann Street and how that’s going to affect school and traffic.”
There are six candidates running for District 2: Thomas Bass, Renee Casillas, Joseph Epps, Bill “Doc” Holliday, Brantley Lyons, and Ian Maloy.
