Pike Co. Sheriff’s Office Searches for Gas Station Shooter
The Pike County Sheriff’s Office needs your help to find the person who shot and killed a gas station clerk.
The shooting happened just before 8:00 Saturday at the Hill Mart gas station in Spring Hill on Troy Elba Highway.

We now know the murder victim is a 51-year-old man. The Sheriff’s Office has not yet released his identity. The Pike County Sheriff tells us there will be a cash reward for information leading to the shooter’s arrest. He says it’s critical to find out more to eliminate the danger to anyone else.
The Sheriff’s Office says the murder happened during a robbery of the Hill Mart gas station. They have not released details about what was taken from the store.
