Clanton Man Charged with Murder in Lake Jordan Boating Accident

ALEA Marine Patrol troopers announce the arrest of one of the boat operators involved in the accident that took the lives of two people on Lake Jordan on July 4.

Damion Bruno, 41, of Clanton, was arrested on Monday, July 29. Bruno is being charged with two counts of murder, one count of first degree assault, one count of 2nd degree assault, and boating under the influence of alcohol.

These charges are the result of the investigation thus far and are the result of extensive work in conjunction with the District Attorney’s Office in Elmore County.
