Cholesterol Linked to Spread of Breast Cancer
Researchers at the Duke Cancer Institute say a byproduct of cholesterol fuels the growth and spread of breast cancer.
They say the molecule mimics the hormone estrogen and promotes cancer growth.
Scientists also found anti-cholesterol drugs including statins can slow the spread of cancerous cells.
