Shoppers Turnout for Day After Christmas Sales
Christmas may be over, but the shopping is still going strong.
We caught up with lots of shoppers at Eastdale Mall for some day after Christmas shopping.
Clothes and fragrances.
Tamekia Hayes is pleased with her after Christmas purchases.
“Looking for some deals and we found them. Some 50 percent off and fragrances and things of that nature,” said Hayes.
And she wasn’t the only one.
Many shoppers tell us they came out for the great after-Christmas sales.
Sharieffa Sanders says, “I thought it was going to start the beginning of January and somebody called me and told me they were doing their 3 dollar sale, so I came out.”
And she loaded up on things she needed.
“Body washes- 3 dollars, lotion. This stuff lasts me the whole year… But I’ll be back,” said Sanders.
While some planned to come out and shop, others like Nick Fox were just looking for a place to hang out.
“We were just out skateboarding in Prattville and decided to go to the mall I guess, ” said Fox.
But according to him, the sales were too good to turn down, and it may even become an annual tradition.
 “If there are sales like they are in there now, yeah probably,” said Fox.
